Bob Richardson – VIEW WORK
Bob Richardson was born in Salford, Lancashire, in 1938. He went on to work in advertising after five years of art school, while also enjoying great success as an amateur painter in exhibits. His reputation has risen and he has earned significant respect in the art world since his choice to become a professional painter in 1975.
Bob is a member of the Pastel Society and a frequent exhibitor at the Confederation of British Artists’ invitational exhibitions at the Mall Galleries in London. He received their ‘Grand Prix’ there in 1991, and he has since received many additional accolades. Granada Television, BMW Cars Ltd, Walkers Crisps, Boddingtons Brewery, Manchester Stock Exchange, and Salford Art Gallery are among the companies that own his works. Paintings in notable private collections abound; both Baroness Thatcher and the singer Bill Wyman possess his works.
