Figures in Setting – 1964

Born in Beckenham, Kent in 1903, lived in Heaton Moor Stockport, taught at the Manchester School of Art 1930 to 1960 and Withington Further Education Centre. Also a lecture at Bolton College of Education.

Travelled widely in Europe especially Italy and Scilly. Had exhibitions in various galleries around North West. Member of the Manchester Acdemy of Fine Arts. He died at Buxton in Derbyshire in 1973.
